No Sound?
We have sound effects throughout our app for your experience! To turn it on, you may need to turn your phone off of silent mode using the switch on either the left or the right side of your device. If this doesn't work, you may need to go into your phone settings and turn on the volume.
To turn on the sound effects in the Nymbl app, you may need to adjust the volume settings on your device and can follow the instructions below to do this.
Check the physical switch on your phone:
Most smartphones have a physical switch on either the left or right side of the device. This is commonly known as the "silent" or "mute" switch. Make sure the switch is not in the silent or mute position, as that will disable all sounds, including app sounds.
Adjust the volume in your phone settings:
On Android: Open the Settings app, then locate and tap on "Sound" or "Sound & Vibration". From there, adjust the volume sliders for "Media" or "Apps" to ensure they are turned up all the way.
On Apple: Open the Settings app, then tap on "Sounds & Haptics" or "Sounds". Adjust the volume slider for "Ringer and Alerts" to increase the overall volume. Also, make sure the "Change with Buttons" option is enabled, so you can use the volume buttons on the side of your device to control the app volume.
Test the volume while the app is active:
Open the Nymbl app and start an exercise. During the countdown to start the exercise, try increasing the volume using the physical volume buttons on your device. This can help ensure that the volume settings are adjusted specifically for the app and that the sound effects are audible.
