Hydration in Liters
We all have different hydration needs. But, generally:

75% of what you drink should be water

Women should drink at least 1.6 liters

Men Should drink at least 2.0 liters
To calculate the amount of water you should drink daily, follow the steps below:
- Multiply your weight in kilograms by 2.2.
- Divide the result by 2. This will give you the amount of water you should drink in ounces.
- Now multiply the number of ounces by 0.0296 to get the equivalent amount in liters. This will tell you how many liters of water you need to drink every day.
The recommended daily water intake for adults is 1/3 to 1/2 of their weight in ounces. One liter of water is equivalent to 33 ounces.
How does hydration affect urinary urgency?
It's crucial to stay hydrated so your body feels good. As well as reducing bladder symptoms, staying hydrated promotes brain function, digestion, and energy.
Still, it's important to keep a balance. Avoid guzzling fluids quickly, but ensure you're drinking enough to avoid dehydration. Drinking too much too quickly can set the stage for an urgent bathroom sprint. Many think that drinking less fluids would ease urgency. But, this can intensify your urges.

- Constipation
- Urinary tract infections (UTIs)
